Happy Friday Everyone! Today, I am brightening up the mood by bringing you bursts of colors! From the numerous travel instagrammers and fashion/travel bloggers that I follow, I couldn't help getting inspired from their photos of various tropical destinations. This provoked me to be a tourist in my own city and try out a new Carribbean restaurant called Sunny Spot. Little did I know, it was a hidden gem. I was really impressed by the whole atmosphere of the place. I ultimately felt like I was on vacation in the Caribbean, from the music to the funky fabric covered bar stools to the mint and teal interior all the way to the food. If you are ever in the Venice Beach area, check it out! :) Moving onto the fashion segment of this post. As I mentioned earlier, I gathered loads of inspiration from scrolling through endless tropical instragram photos. It made me crave for something pastel mixed with a citrus color. Coincidentally, I recently purchased a lovely lilac sweater and a bold yellow bucket bag both on SALE! A bucket bag is certainly a must have this Spring/Summer season. I have been searching for the perfect bucket bag for a reasonable price so of course I had to snatch this one up when I saw it was on sale! To keep it casual cool, I paired it with a soft lilac sweater, fluted hem skirt, and crisp white oxfords. With the help of the restaurant's teal wall and the fresh breeze, it really worked in our favor to capture a mix of spring and summer in this look. Thank you for reading! I hope you have a great Mother's Day weekend! I will talk to you soon! :)
